It turns out Jack White doesn't need electricity to put on a complete show.
At the end of the rocker's concert in Dublin Thursday night, the power was cut to the PA system in the middle of his cover of Lead Belly's "Goodnight Irene." But White defied the curfew and led the Irish audience in an unplugged version of the song to properly close out the set, which lasted more than two hours.
During the show White was joined by his Dead Weather bandmate Alison Mosshart and her Kills bandmate Jamie Hince.
White continued his string of European shows on Saturday with an appearance on Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage in the U.K. He added a little extra metal to the setlist with a cover of "Enter Sandman" by Metallica, who headlined the festival later that night.
