Man Shot And Killed By St. Pete Police

ST. PETERSBURG (970 WFLA) -- St. Petersburg police shot and killed a man about 4 o'clock Saturday morning, after responding to a noise complaint.

Investigators say the unidentified man brandished a handgun while sitting on his front porch off 40th Street. When officers walked toward him, the man went inside a grabbed a shotgun. Police say he returned to the front porch and aimed the weapon at them. That's when he was shot and killed.
