Man charged for fatally stabbing brother with scissors

LARGO, Fla. (970 WFLA) – Largo Police say a fight between two brothers ended with one dead and the other facing a second degree murder charge.

Police say it happened around 8:15 this morning on the 3000 block of South Pines Drive.

Police say the defendant, 20-year-old Matthew Cisco and his brother, 26-year-old Christopher Cisco, got into an argument in the living room of the home they shared. Police say it turned physical, they wrestled onto a loveseat, and then Matthew grabbed a pair of scissors that were reachable on a coffee table and stabbed his brother Christopher in the chest. 

Police say Christopher Cisco died as a result of his wounds and Matthew Cisco has been arrested and charged with second degree murder (domestic).  Police say no one else lived in the home with the two brothers.
