Happ Execution Set for October 15th!

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (970 WFLA/AP)- The man scheduled to be executed Oct. 15 for murdering a woman who stopped at a payphone to call a friend doesn't want his death sentence delayed.

William Happ told a judge he wants no appeals filed on his behalf. Happ murdered 21-year-old Angela Crowley on May 24, 1986.

Circuit court judge Richard Howard notified the Florida Supreme Court of Happ's decision on Wednesday.

Happ told Howard by phone that he has had a long time to think about the execution and wants it to go forward.

When asked if he wanted any motions filed on his behalf, Happ replied, ``none at all, please.''

Crowley had just moved to Fort Lauderdale from Oregon, Ill., five months before Happ kidnapped her from a Crystal River parking lot and murdered her.
