Clearwater, Fla.-(970 WFLA)-Police have raided four stores and made three arrests in a roundup of synthetic marijuana. The raids come after a long investigation.
The stores hit are the Wanna Save on Cleveland Street, the Hillcrest Store on Gulf-to-Bay, the Super Sonic on South Missouri and Danny's Tobacco Shop on Gulf-to-Bay.
The three unidentified suspects are being charged with the sale and possession of synthetic marijuana. Officers say more arrests are in the works.
Forty nine large trash bags of the illegal stuff were found at just one of the stores. Police say it's the largest seizure on synthetic weed in Clearwater history.
