12 hours of non-stop drumming to beat the bullies out of Pinellas Schools

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (970 WFLA) – The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is hosting a 12-hour drumming event designed to raise awareness about the problem of bullying and to beat bullying out of Pinellas County Schools.

The "Beat the Bullies" drumming event will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on today, November 9, 2013 in the multi-purpose room at Osceola Middle School located at 9301 98th street north in Seminole.

PCSO: Pinellas County school resource Deputy Ural Darling, along with other law enforcement members, students, teachers and community leaders will beat the drums against bullying for 12-straight hours. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness of the problem of bullying in schools and to encourage intervention and prevention before matters escalate and get out of hand.
